Construction progress
Circle IV
In December 2024, a number of key construction works were completed, bringing the project closer to its planned completion date. Key deliverables include:
- completion of work on the reinforced concrete structure of the building;
- installation of internal systems: electrical, water and sewage and ventilation in some technical rooms;
- commencement of facade works, including installation of: facade system, thermal insulation and finishing layer;
- preparation for installation of stage mechanisms.
Challenges and difficulties
Weather conditions (low temperatures and snowfall) caused delays in some works on the building’s exterior.
Plans for the upcoming period
- Continuation of installation of internal systems in the office and technical parts.
- Finishing works inside the building: plastering and flooring.
Summary
Construction of the fourth circle of the Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz is proceeding according to schedule, despite the logistical and weather difficulties encountered. The works scheduled for January 2025 should ensure further dynamic progress in the implementation of the project.
